Check out this video from CBS of country singer/songwriter Whitney Duncan, who will be competing on the next season of Survivor: South Pacific. Whitney is a beautiful and talented up-and-coming star with a great voice and a bright future!
She first came onto the scene in 2004 with a duet released by Kenny Rogers titled “My World Is Over.” She then made her presence known in 2007 by competing on Nashville Star (placing 5th) and by releasing her self-titled debut album. The album didn’t produce any radio singles, but it led up to her next album release, “Right Road Now” which included the singles, “When I Said I Would,” “The Bed You Made,” and “Skinny Dippin’.” She also had a video for the song “Right Road Now,” but it was never released as a single. If you’re not familiar with Whitney or her music, I strongly urge you to look her up and purchase her music…it will be an investment well-made!
Whitney is very fan-friendly, often responding to tweets sent her way. We wish her the best of luck, and hope country music fans tune in to root her on!
