- Tim McGraw and The Dance Hall Doctors Parting Ways… It is unclear which members of the Dance Hall Doctors are departing, and whether the decision is on the part of the band members or Tim, but he did take to his facebook page with this statement… “As some of you might know, there have been some recent changes in my band. Change can be hard, and it’s not something you come to lightly. I couldn’t be more proud of the music we’ve created together over the years, and I’ll treasure the memories.” “I know you will join me in wishing everyone only the best in their future endeavors,” he continues. “Thanks for all the unwavering support you’ve shown me over the years, and I can’t wait to continue our journey … See you all soon!”
- As we announced earlier on our Facebook Page…Matt Walker is leaving KISS Country 99.9 for a job in North Carolina at 96.9 The Kat. Best of luck to you Matt! Coincidentally, he’ll be at the same station as Meg Butterly, formerly of South Florida Country 107.9 WIRK FM. Since leaving WIRK, Meg has been nominated multiple times as part of the morning show there for the Major Market On-Air Personality(ies) of the Year, including the upcoming CMA’s in November.
