Scott Terry was an outstanding angler and community advocate who dreamed of hosting a unique fishing tournament in Palm Beach County – one that was different than all the rest, a real celebration of the sport. A little more than one year after his death, his friends continue to honor his memory with a very successful fishing tournament, the Downtown Showdown Fishing Tournament. Numerous local and national sponsors are on board and excited to be part of this impressive annual event.
As a tribute to Scott, proceeds from this event will go to Lauren’s Kids, a non-profit organization that educates adults and children about sexual abuse prevention through in-school curricula, awareness campaigns and speaking engagements around the country and the world.
