Mike Carroll – President/Managing Member

By day, Mike is an Assistant Area Controller for a national contracting company. He runs SFCM in the evenings, on weekends, and even at times during his lunch hour. He got into country music while working as a bouncer in college at the now defunct Riverfront Saloon in Tallahassee. In an attempt to meet people with similar interests, he created a Group on MySpace in February 2005 and called it “South Florida Country Music Fans.” It grew into something bigger than he ever imagined, to the point where local artists were soon asking him to manage their bands. He then moved the base of operations to Facebook, where it really took off. With the support of his friends and family, he re-designed the logo, built a website, dropped the word “fans,” and launched South Florida Country Music, LLC in March 2011!

Mike handles all of the business decisions, manages the Local Artist Services, maintains the website, and has his hand in just about everything related to the day-to-day operation of the business as well as things going on behind-the-scenes.

Mike is an avid sports fan and sports card collector, enjoys traveling on road trips and to explore new places, and can often be found at a local concerts and hockey games.
