- Rodney Atkins & Scotty McCreery are both scheduled to perform during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
- Miranda Lambert says her and husband Blake Shelton, won’t be having children any time soon… In a recent interview Miranda said “We have so much going on right now, and we’re both on top of the world,” Lambert says. “I just feel like I’d better not raise a baby on a tour bus! We need at least a couple of years until we think about having kids. I want to enjoy being married, just him-and me time, first.” Although when asked if there could be a Blake & Miranda Tour in the near future Miranda said “A Tour, maybe!”
- Rolling Stone magazine is reporting that Fox’s hit series “Glee” could include a cover of Toby Keith‘s “Red Solo Cup” sometime in the near future! During a Los Angeles press event marking Glee’s 300th musical performance, the hit Fox series’ creator, Ryan Murphy, revealed that the song had made it to the Glee writers’ room. If “Red Solo Cup” makes it to an episode it would only be the third country song ever to make it to the hit series, as well as the first by a male artist!
- Friday, October 28th, Sugarland returned to Indiana for a free show to honor those injured & lost in the tragic stage collapse. “We are all changed by what happened then,” Sugarland lead singer Jennifer Nettles told a packed crowd in Indianapolis. “But we are going to try to give you the best show that we can and to celebrate healing with you and to celebrate life and music with you here tonight.” Instead of Jennifer creating the usual LOVE flag, that has been a staple at Sugarland shows across the country, Indiana’s flag was “HEAL”… Which concert-goers felt was the most appropriate of statements for this show.
