- 17 years ago today John Michael Montgomery hit gold with his version of “I Swear.”
- Jake Owen likes to party with his Twitter Friends… He was in Nashville for a day and decided to take the boat out, so he told his twitter followers where to meet him, and around a dozen of them showed up to hang out with Jake on the lake.

- Blake Shelton says he & wife Miranda Lambert are just your normal couple… He said in a recent interview “Miranda will cook dinner, and then we’ll hop in the truck go drive around and feed the horses. She’s my best friend, we do everything together!”
- Trace Adkins says that being surrounded by his wife and 5 daughters “the more he’s around women, the LESS he knows!”
- CMA Music Festival’s Country’s Night to Rock is on Sunday August 14th at 8pm on ABC
