Jason Aldean has had a heck of a year. Not only did he win his first Country Music Association Awards, he had one of the top-grossing tours of 2011. Add in a few hit songs and stellar television appearances and it might be a hard year to beat.
So how does Jason celebrate what might be the biggest year of his career? He heads to the Double Dime Ranch outside of San Antonio, Texas, to hunt with pal and fellow Georgia boy Luke Bryan. Jason and Luke, in addition to being friends, are also part of a group known as Buck Commander, which hunts together and even has its own television show. The group also includes Major League Baseball players Adam LaRoche and Ryan Langerhans.
Just over a week ago Jason Aldean tweeted “Me and my buddy @LukeBryanOnline headed to the Double Dime in TX to do some deer hunting with Buck Commander. Flight is delayed…… Awesome!”… Well we finally know how the last hunting trip of the season for the “Buck Commander” boys went!!
It’s probably no surprise that Jason bagged not one but two bucks on the recent trip. “Just got back from the last @Buck_Commander hunt of the year,” Jason wrote on Twitter. “I had a pretty awesome week at the Double Dime. Now I gotta do some Christmas shoppin!”
No word on whether or not Luke was as successful as Jason.
