Jacksonville Beach singer/songwriter Jordyn Stoddard has announced that her debut album Southern Tide will be released on March 9, 2015! Her debut single from the project, “Like Me ‘Til You Love Me,” was co-written by Eric Paslay, Chris Wallin, and Matt Nolen, and will be released to country radio on February 12th and to all digital music outlets on February 16, 2015.
The 16-year old Stoddard has received notable interest from the country music media as “one to watch” in 2015. The album, which was produced by Grammy-winning producer David Hall and recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN, includes several co-writes as well as songs from several of Nashville’s top songwriters. The 11-track project is one of the most anticipated independent country music releases of 2015.
“I wanted to make an album that reflects how I’m feeling as a teenager and the mixed emotions that come with growing up. I think there are many people that have gone through or are currently going through the same experiences I’ve had. From a first love and heartbreak to the feeling of freedom and opportunity, I think people will be able to relate to the songs on this album.”
Stoddard will be following up the release of her album with a radio promo tour as well as a series of concerts and appearances.
