Brooklyn, born Brooke Galmarini, is an up-and-coming country music artist from Florida. She had stars in her eyes since she was six years old. A childhood nickname “Brooklyn” quickly became the singer’s flashy stage name. The 21 year-old rising star resides in sunny South Florida, where she spends her nights performing at local venues and days perfecting her craft.
Brooklyn was born to perform. Sifting through old home videos of Brooklyn would give you a glimpse of her fabulous beginnings; singing into her microphone at home or performing singing and dance shows for friends and family. Many days she would come home from school, run straight to her bedroom and start singing into her karaoke machine. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into something much more.
Brooklyn Marie belted it out constantly in the privacy of her bedroom, but it wasn’t until her solo appearance in her 7th grade musical “Annie” that her family really discovered her true talent. From that moment on, they all knew this was a natural talent and passion that had to be pursued. Soon after, her parents began investing in voice and guitar lessons, and a brand new guitar.
A recent trip to Nashville solidified for Brooklyn and her family that her choice to pursue country music was the absolute right one. She immediately felt right at home among Music City’s greats, with a week full of meetings and sightseeing. The icing on the cake was her opportunity to perform at the Hard Rock, and Brooklyn headed home with a full heart and an inspired mind.
Here at home in South Florida, Brooklyn’s deep love for music continues to guide her to sing wherever she can, whether at a local gig, a karaoke bar, or just in a room full of family.
