Breaking news today from Country Aircheck:

Hubbard/West Palm Beach OM and Country WIRK & Classic Hits WEAT PD Bruce Logan has exited. Sister WUBE/Cincinnati PD Grover Collins will add programming responsibilities for WIRK. Logan joined the cluster in 2019 and was elevated to OM six months later. He previously spent five years as VP/Programming at Entercom/Houston and 17 years with iHeartMedia and its predecessors in various programming capacities in Charlotte, Greenville, SC and Greensboro, NC.

“I am eternally grateful to Ginny Morris, Dave Bestler, Greg Strassell and Elizabeth Hamma for the opportunity to run the West Palm Beach cluster for the past six years,” Logan tells Country Aircheck. “I am excited about the future – there is more audio being consumed right now that at any time in our history. After taking a break, we will figure out the next best move for my family.”

SFCM used to have a great working relationship with WIRK, often being invited to photograph their events like the Rib Round Up, invited to judge their singing competitions that would determine opening slots at the Rib Round Up, and had their support for the local artists that we work with where they were featured on their website and occasionally given radio airplay.  That all went away over the last few years as the people we used to work with left the station and our emails and voice mails started to get ignored.  With the new leadership being based in Cincinnati, OH, we don’t expect anything to change unfortunately.

We wish Mr. Logan the best of luck in his future endeavors!
