- Wave of New Music on it’s Way – Several big-name artists have either just released or will be releasing new singles in the coming month or so. Some of the tunes you may or may not have heard yet include “Old Alabama” by Braid Paisley, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” by Jake Owen, “Honey Bee” by Blake Shelton, “Country Girl (Shake it for Me) by Luke Bryan, “Mean” by Taylor Swift, “Numbers” by Jason Michael Carroll, “Teenage Daughters” by Martina McBride, “Am I the Only One” by Dierks Bentley, “Just Fishin'” by Trace Adkins, “Wanna Take You Home” by Gloriana, “Stay Up Late” by Heidi Newfield, and “Homeboy” by Eric Church. - Zac Brown Band to pair up with James Taylor at ACM’s – Zac Brown Band will be performing a duet with James Taylor at the ACM Awards this Sunday night live from Las Vegas. This is a perfect match in my opinion. When they’re second single, “Whatever It Is” came out, I often compared it to a James Taylor song. I wonder if they’ll reach back in their discography to play this, or if they’ll debut something new. We shall see!
