After the WIRK Rib Round Up was cut short Saturday night due to the death of a light technician in the rafters, a vocal minority of insensitive fans complained that the show was ended early and demanded refunds. WIRK has made an announcement about replacement tickets, as noted below. Kudos to WIRK and Live Nation for going above and beyond the call of duty here. Yes, the show was cut off early, but fans did still get 8.5 hours of live music for a great price, regardless of who didn’t get to perform.
